Mrs. Moody is a certified personal trainer and aquatic instructor who began teaching Physical Education at Carden Country School in 2007. Her goal is to help students develop an awareness of they physical abilities and to better understand their bodies capabilities. She focuses on core strengthening and flexibility by combining structured play with cooperative outdoor activities. Mrs. Moody was attracted to the small class sizes, the individualized attention, strong family atmosphere, and the school’s focus on the positive aspects of life. She enjoys Reading, working out, yoga, and spending time with her kids.

Mrs. Misenti graduated from Stonehill College in Massachusetts with a double major in French and Communications. She spent her third year of college at L’Université de la Sorbonne in Paris, France where she studied French literature, history, geography, and culture in addition to the French language. Mrs. Misenti also holds a Master of Arts Degree from Emerson College in Media Management. Previously, she taught French at two Bainbridge Island elementary schools in their after school language programs. While teaching French at Blakely elementary school, Mrs. Misenti also lead the foreign language program registering about 75 students each in classes of Spanish, Japanese, German, American Sign Language and French. |
