Dear Parents, Students and Friends of the Carden Country School:

Traffic Safety: Please drive the posted speed or less on Island Center Road. There are public school students out waiting for their bus when many of you drive by. Please be sure that you drive safely. One of the major issues in the zoning process for our school was the amount and safety of the additional traffic generated. Let us give no reason for the city or our neighbors to be concerned.

It is absolutely CRUCIAL that we maintain complete safety in getting our children to school. As has been said numerous times, while we want you to plan your lives so that your students arrive at school on time, it is much more important that you be safe!!

Please, please, while school is important, safety is much more so.

In addition, as we have said many times, please find a way to carpool to and from school. It’s better for you, the environment and our school, because it will reduce the traffic on Island Center Road.

Please continue to pray for all of our students, families and staff, that our work may be directed by God and find favor in His eyes.
