March 2001

New Crest: Our crest was designed by Carden Country School graduate Easton Sanderson, Class of 2001, with production assistance from Mrs. Beal and Mr. Nason.

Its focal point is the cross, as is appropriate for a Christian school. Surrounding the cross are the seven fruits of the Spirit, as found in Galatians 5:22, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."  The background color is green, symbolizing hope, joy, and loyalty in love.  Also included are silver holly branches, the silver representing peace and sincerity, and the holly representing truth. The text at the top refers to our founder, Miss Mae Carden. The text at the bottom is Latin, Coram Deo, which means "Before the face of God."
